Jerry O’Connell Admits He Likes When He Can Smell Wife Rebecca Romijn’s Body Odor
Jerry O’Connell doesn’t believe in holding back on some awkward marital secrets — but most husbands might have kept his latest revelation to themselves!
The 52-year-old, who has been married to Rebecca Romijn for almost 20 years, admits he loves the way his wife smells, whether she wears deodorant or doesn’t.
The Stand by Me star shared the offbeat preference during the Tuesday, June 30, episode of Thanks Dad With Ego Nwodim, where O’Connell and host Ego Nwodim got onto the subject of deodorant.
The Jerry Maguire actor mentioned he leans toward sprays over roll-ons, and the conversation drifted toward Romijn, 53, and her deodorant. “No offense to the roll-on deodorant industry — I don’t think it works as well as spray. Well, I have to tell you, my wife, Rebecca Romijn, rubs crystals under her arms,” O’Connell revealed.
“Now I don’t mind the way my wife — it doesn’t offend me,” he continued. “Actually, ah — this is gonna get a little dirty — I kind of like it when I can smell my wife’s body odor.”
When he was asked what exactly appeals to him about it, he didn’t mince his words. “It’s like a little kicking and, like, it’s a little funky town,” said O’Connell.
When Nwodim suggested that he had a fondness for the scent, the Sliders alum didn’t argue.
“I’m shocked I’m with my wife,” he said.
Praising his wife, the actor added, “For those who don’t know, my wife’s name is Rebecca Romijn, supermodel, like on the cover of magazines. I couldn’t believe my wife chose to be with me, like from a marital standpoint, from an emotional standpoint, from a physical standpoint. And I’m very appreciative.”
O’Connell and Romijn, who tied the knot in 2007, have never been shy about sharing intimate details of their life together — and one of their many confessions involves money.
“We keep our money completely separate. I mean there’s like a community pot,” Romijn confessed alongside her husband during a July 2025 chat on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live.
O’Connell and Romijn share 17-year-old twins, Charlie and Dolly.
