When Her Baby Wouldn’t Give Her a Break, She Shared a Graphic Photo That Has Moms Cheering in Solidarity

Texas mom Desirae Robles was trying so hard to get her baby daughter to nap one morning when something truly unforgettable happened to her that had parents all over nodding and laughing in solidarity with her.

Desirae started playing with her little girl, whose name is Addelina, to see if she could get her to sleep. But when she picked her up, she only saw one thing flying at her face—baby spit-up. A whole lot of it, too.

And what did she do next? She decided to send a picture of her face, coated in spit-up, to her boyfriend Larry Estrada.

“It was one of the moments you can’t ever forget, so I had to send it to him to see,” she said.

And of course, Larry found it hilarious.

“I love that she was calm enough to take a photo,” he said.

And she was calm enough to share the pic of her face on Twitter, right next to a picture of her adorable daughter, perhaps looking a little too pleased with what she’d just done to her mother.

“It didn’t bother me,” Desirae said. “She’s my daughter.”

It’s little wonder that this tweet went viral so quickly, racking up more than 132,000 likes and more than 32,000 retweets (and still counting!). Any parent will recognize exactly what that feeling is like. So why not acknowledge it by sharing their own “gross” moments with their own kids as well?
