Travis Kelce Joins Brother Jason and Boyz II Men on Heartwarming Christmas Song

Taylor Swift isn’t the only singer in her relationship—her NFL star beau Travis Kelce has recently stepped into the studio alongside his brother Jason Kelce to bring to life a Christmas tune we didn’t know we needed. The group at the forefront of this epic collab are The Philly Specials, the music group consisting of former Philadelphia Eagle Jason Kelce, Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson, in addition to none other than the iconic vocal group Boyz II Men. Together, this unlikely group of collaborators joined forces in recording “It’s Christmas Time (In Cleveland Heights),” an ode to the Kelces’ hometown, in the first song to be released off of The Philly Specials’ next holiday album. 

This festive holiday track is chock full of smooth vocals and Christmas cheer, as the Kelce brothers spread the joy in the song about the Ohio town in which they grew up and the feeling of returning home for the holidays. It’s something entirely unexpected that somehow works extremely well—and we’re totally obsessed!

While Jason Kelce and his fellow Philly Specials members have been down this musical road in the past, Travis Kelce isn’t as used to putting his musical chops on display—but that’s not to say he doesn’t have them! He showcased his musical talent alongside his brother once before when he was featured on their 2023 rendition of “Fairytale of Philadelphia.” 

News of this new Kelce-led single brought on tons of support from listeners. On the Instagram post sharing the song with the world, many took to the comments to share their love for the holiday tune. “I have already listened to this song so many times that I can hear it in my head! Thanks for the sweet sounds to start off the holiday season!,” wrote one user. “Awesome! I love this Christmas song! The Kelce boys and Boyz II Men should go on a tour together! I would definitely buy a ticket!” wrote another. 

All about The Philly Specials

The Philly Specials were born back in 2022, and since then, the beloved football-playing musical trio have brought us countless smiles since their debut. On November 22, their third album, A Philly Special Christmas Party, will be shared with the world, and while details are still being revealed, exciting things are on the horizon—including a duet with none other than Stevie Nicks!

“You could tell she loves people, she loves music, she loves the art of making music. [She] brought a breath of fresh air into the recording studio,” Jason Kelce shared of working with the music legend on his New Heights podcast. 

According to the music group’s website, all of the proceeds made from this project will be donated to various charities and programs local to Philadelphia, including the Children’s Crisis Treatment Center’s Holiday Toy Drive and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Snowflake Station.
