Aging may be inevitable and tough at times, but Tina Fey is proving it can still provide some humour along the way.
The 56-year-old actress and writer explained that it’s hard to really understand what it means until you go through it yourself.
Speaking to Today, Fey said, “I feel like it’s a reverse puberty in a way. It’s like your body starts to change and be disgusting in new ways.
“When you’re 12 or 13, you’re like, ‘Why am I so oily?’ And now you’re like, ‘Why am I so papery?'”

The Saturday Night Live alum and 30 Rock creator said that her personal experiences and similar ones shared by her fellow writers on show The Four Seasons helped improve the script as they had all gone through a similar aging process.
As per a People report, she said: “Almost all of us have known each other a super long time, and so all the writers are really good about sharing their own things.
“Then sometimes our spouses are like, ‘Is that me?’ And then we’ll usually just be like, ‘No, no.’ We’ll just lie and say, ‘That’s so and so.’ ”
Fey also used the interview to speak of her excitement about the creative possibilities ahead. She expressed interest in branching out beyond television, including writing a play and exploring other options.
With trademark wit, she said: “I’m hoping that things will just continue to present themselves. There definitely are other forms of writing that still interest me. I’d love to maybe write in prose in another form.
“But I also just like sitting still in a chair and drinking coffee outside.”
