While the pressures of Hollywood often lead to celebrities chasing the proverbial fountain of youth, Cindy Crawford is grateful she has her husband, Rande Gerber, in her corner.
“I feel lucky that my husband is very, very against [cosmetic procedures],” Crawford, 60, said during a Friday, June 5, appearance on the Gloss Angeles podcast.
“He’s like, ‘You look beautiful.’ He doesn’t even like makeup,” she continued. “He prefers me to wear no makeup. Then I’ll be like, ‘But she looks so good.’ And then I’m like, ‘Okay wait, remind myself.'”
Crawford also has the advantage of having her friend Sonia Kashuk by her side as they age, too.

“I have kind of a pact with a friend of mine who’s a makeup artist or was a makeup artist. She’s kind of retired now. Her name is Sonia Kashuk,” the runway legend explained to hosts Kirbie Johnson and Sara Tan. “She used to have a big line at Target. She’s one of my oldest friends, and we’re like, ‘We’re not doing it, right? We’re not doing it.'”
Crawford has previously spoken about the pressure to achieve the unachievable when it comes to getting older, and she admitted that she doesn’t like being called “ageless.”
“I know all the ways that I’ve aged. My face has gotten much thinner; my mouth isn’t as full. Being told I’m ageless isn’t right, especially because getting older is hard enough, never mind that we live in a youth-obsessed culture,” she told Haute Living in a 2022 interview. “I’m not 25, so why should I be trying to look 25? Why do I want someone to mistake me for a 25-year-old? I’ve had children. I have all this life experience.”
