The View‘s Joy Behar is clearing up confusion over her recent on-air wobbles.
The 83-year-old addressed her health during the Monday, July 7 episode of the talk show. “I got acupuncture, because I’m dizzy. I walk and I’m dizzy. Has anyone noticed, I walk like I’m drunk? I’m not drinking, I don’t drink,” Behar said.
She has been a fixture on the ABC talk show since its debut in 1997, save for a brief hiatus from 2013 to 2015 when she left the show before returning as a cohost.
Cohost Alyssa Farah Griffin said that Behar has occasionally needed to be “escorted” to her seat on set. Behar responded with some self-deprecating humor of her own. “I don’t know what it is, between the Botox, the Ozempic and the acupuncture, I’m, like, full of needles, more than a drug addict,” she said, adding that she won’t know if the acupuncture is helping until she’s had more sessions.

This isn’t the first time Behar has gotten candid about her appearance. As First For Women previously reported, Behar addressed facelift speculation in May, insisting she’s never gone under the knife. “Everybody thinks I’ve had a facelift. I have not had a facelift,” she clarified. Behar admitted to using Botox and Restylane to fill in certain areas.
She also credited her signature red hair to serious upkeep. “Just yesterday, I had a dye job, a highlight job and a keratin treatment,” Behar said on the May 19 episode of Behind the Table, The View‘s companion podcast.
“You have to do things,” she explained. “Everybody thinks you look good because you’re naturally that good. You’re not.”
