Take a look at their famous engagement photo. Seems like a pretty normal pose for a couple about to be married, right?
And sneak a peak at their equally famous wedding day portrait. Again, nothing appears to be amiss, right?

Give up? Okay, here goes: Princess Diana looks noticeably shorter than Prince Charles in all these pics (and many more). But in reality, the two royals were the same height–about 5 foot 8 inches.
An eagle-eyed viewer on Twitter pointed this fact out recently, and it immediately caught firestorm, with many admitting they hadn’t caught onto this until just now.
It’s no wonder why the Internet can’t get over this. So many photos where this is happening!

We’ll never know for sure if this was intentional or if it was just a habit, but one thing’s for certain–we love Princess Diana and think she is beautiful at any height!
