Heads up, Panera Bread fans: The bakery-café chain is recalling cream cheese nationwide after a sample test revealed listeria contamination. The massive recall affects all 2-ounce and 8-ounce cream cheese products sold in all of Panera’s U.S. bakery-cafés.

The voluntary recall was posted on Panera’s website on January 28 after samples of one 2-ounce cream cheese from a single production day showed a positive result for the harmful bacteria. Despite the listeria being found in only one variety of cream cheese, Panera issued a recall on all varieties of unexpired 2-ounce and 8-ounce cream cheese products with an expiration date on or before April 2, 2018.

“The safety of our guests and associates is paramount, therefore we are recalling all cream cheese products sold in the US with an active shelf life. We have likewise ceased all manufacturing in the associated cream cheese facility,” said Blaine Hurst, Panera’s President and CEO. “Only one variety of 2-oz cream cheese from a single day yielded the positive result. Our intent is to go above and beyond for our guests. You should expect nothing less from Panera.”

Consumers who purchased these products are urged to discard them immediately and contact Panera Bread Customer Service at 1-855-6-PANERA from Monday through Sunday, 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM. CST, or visit Panera.custhelp.com for a full refund.

As you probably already know, listeria is nothing to mess around with; it’s the third leading cause of death from food poisoning in the U.S. — and it’s particularly dangerous for pregnant women and their newborns, adults ages 65 and older, and people with weakened immune systems.

So far, no illnesses have been reported in connection to the recalled products. Let’s keep it this way and alert all our loved ones to make sure they’re aware!
