Matt Damon Praises His ‘Odyssey’ Female Stunt Double for Having the ‘Greatest Arms I’ve Ever Seen’

Matt Damon‘s biceps deserve their own recognition in his newest film, The Odyssey. However, the actor gave credit “where it’s due” to his female stunt double.

“They got stuntmen who were under five feet, and so my double was a woman, a female stunt performer who had the greatest arms I’ve ever seen,” Damon, 55, said during his Monday, July 20, appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast. “When she came into the catering tent was the first time I met her. I went up and I hugged her and I thanked her for all the work she’d put in.”

The Oscar winner continued, “There are those shots in the movie where you see these giants looming over me. So it was almost 100 percent my arms in the movie. But got to give it up where it’s due.”

Damon explained that 7-foot stuntmen were paired with stuntmen who were under 5 feet tall to create the “forced perspective” of the Laestrygonians. Actress and stunt performer Devyn Dalton confirmed that it was her arm in the film in a post shared via Instagram on Tuesday, July 21.

“Thank you for the support ❤️🙌” she wrote.

In addition to The Odyssey, Dalton’s arms have made appearances in The Last of Us and Percy Jackson and the Olympians, according to Massive Cinema.
