Zee, who has been a fixture at the morning show for nearly 15 years, took to Instagram on Tuesday, July 14, to share a collage of herself wearing the same halter-neck yellow dress across the years, reaffirming her longstanding commitment to sustainable style.
“If you think data and facts about heat get people all worked up… imagine their disdain when I emphasize my anti-consumerism practice of going 4+ years without buying new clothing,” Zee, 45, wrote in her caption. “Dress today is an oldie but a goodie I’ve had for at least 8 years. #nonewclothes.”

Fans flooded the comments section of Tuesday’s post with praise for Zee’s eco-conscious mindset. “You’re a great example for us all!!! You look beautiful in your yellow,” one commenter wrote. Another added, “You look amazing. This outfit is a reminder that when we buy quality and take care of our things, they can last and look good for years.”
One follower even credited Zee with inspiring a major lifestyle shift, writing that after seeing her posts, they “scoured every Goodwill every thrift shop, every antique store every garage sale” to source vintage china and crystal for their daughter’s wedding — purchasing 18 full sets of china, 18 sets of silver, and 1,000 pieces of crystal to be reused for years to come, per the comment.
Others simply admired the dress’s staying power. “If it still fits and isn’t falling apart, you keep wearing it!” one fan wrote, while another noted, “It also shows how fit you are and can still wear something 8 years later!!”

The post is the latest chapter in Zee’s yearslong crusade against overconsumption. Last summer, she marked GMA‘s final broadcast from its longtime Times Square studio by re-wearing a blue and pink colorblock dress that dates back to her earliest days at the network. She shared side-by-side photos of herself in the dress — one from 2012, and one taken on June 13, 2025 — on Instagram captioning it, “Left 2012. Right today. I started here in fall 2011. But this summer dress has been with me the whole time. Farewell Times Square and looking forward to new memories in Hudson Square – this dress is coming with me😉 #nonewclothes.”
Between her weather reports and her wardrobe, Zee continues to prove that a little bit of consistency — and a great yellow dress — can go a long way.
