Kelly Ripa Details Hilariously NSFW Anniversary Card She Gave Husband Mark Consuelos
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. But it was the card that Ripa gave her husband that had their talk show audience laughing out loud.
“For our anniversary, I found an anniversary card where two T. rexes are engaged in loving one another very much,” Ripa, 55, said during the Thursday, May 28, episode of Live! With Kelly and Mark. “And the female T. rex says, ‘Pull my hair.’ And the male T. rex says, ‘I’m trying.’ Best card.”
The joke was alluding to the fact that the Tyrannosaurus rex dinosaurs are known for their tiny arms — which Ripa says she also suffers from.
“It’s an adorable card,” the Hope & Faith alum added. “You have to see it, but only certain people can see it. You have to be 21 and older to see it.”
Consuelos, 55, admitted it was the “best card” he ever received.
The morning show co-stars met in the mid-1990s on the set of the iconic soap opera, All My Children. The onscreen couple quickly turned into a real-life couple, and the pair eloped to Las Vegas less than a year later.
They would later welcome three children, son Michael, 28, daughter Lola, 24, and son Joaquin, 23.
