Patricia Heaton appears to lead by the phrase, “gray hair, don’t care!”
The Everybody Loves Raymond alum, 68, addressed negative comments about her mane in a candid Instagram video shared on Wednesday, May 27.
“Some of you seem very concerned about the silver in my hair,” Heaton said in the clip, referencing a social media comment that claimed she was “too young for grey old lady hair.”
“But let me just say: there’s some things that come along in life that I’ve just decided to embrace, and that doesn’t include boxed hair dye,” she continued.
The actress added that she’s no longer worried about outside opinions.
“The people in my life love me no matter what color my hair is,” Heaton shared, “and maybe we could all use a little more of just accepting what is and being grateful.”
