Celine Dion crashed a couple’s engagement session and took some hilarious photos.
The supremely talented Celine Dion has plenty of fans, and they love attending her concerts or simply getting to say hello and having a quick chat with the down-to-earth performer. But a couple of fans just got the stars interaction of a lifetime when they chose to have a huge romantic moment–their engagement–right in front of Celine.

In a proposal months in the making, Nick Janevski and his girlfriend, Austin McMillan both 24, were hanging out backstage with the singer for a private meet-and-greet. A former personal trainer for Celine’s manager, Nick had gotten backstage passes and arranged for the couple to go last during the special meet-and-greet so that no one else would be there.
And that’s when Janevski got down on one knee, shocking both his sweetheart and Celine. Her facial expressions are just hilarious!

That’s why her face was like that,” Austin said in a phone call with Cosmopolitan.com. “We were taking a picture and all of a sudden he gets down on one knee. I froze. I didn’t say anything, I just smiled. Two minutes went by and she got really nervous… she hid behind a curtain! She was like, ‘This is embarrassing.’ I just kissed him.”
https://www.instagram.com/p/BQIz7zBjlO3/According to Austin, who says “My Heart Will Go On” is her favorite Celine song, the singer then gave the couple her best wishes for a happy marriage, just like the one she had with her love, Rene Angelil, who passed away in January 2016 after a battle with throat cancer. Celine has been open about missing him terribly–and keeping his memory alive–ever since.
“It’s kind of a blur but she was very sweet. She said that she wished us a long and happy marriage like she had with her husband,” said Austin.
How touching! We hear that her boyfriend (well, fiancé!) also arranged for the couple’s family members and friends to meet them for gelato at Caesar’s Palace after the show. Too cute!
