With so many Hallmark hunks that grace the Hallmark Channel, it can be hard to keep track of them all. However, some manage to simply stand out, and Brendan Penny is one of them. The 45-year-old Canada native has been bringing dashing characters to life for years, and his romantic charm makes him a network favorite.

“I’ll do Hallmark movies for the rest of my life if they let me,” Penny told TV Goodness in 2017. “It’s always some of the nicest people you could ever meet. Everybody is there to have a good time and do a good job and to make something that makes people feel good.”

5. In Merry Measure (2022)

A pop-star played by Patti Murin is a one-hit-wonder who has hopes that her career will take off once again. When she returns home to help out her newly widowed sister, she learns that her niece didn’t make the cut at her school’s choir, run by none other than her old rival Adam, played by Penny. 

Deciding to create her own team of talented students who also didn’t make the team, she and Adam soon realize that their teams might just be better together, and soon enough, she finds herself coaching alongside the man she never thought she would. Will sparks fly for these two opposites?

4. Easter Under Wraps (2019)

Erin is the marketing director of her family’s chocolate company and, unsure why sales are down, decides to go undercover to learn the reason. When she meets chocolatier Bryan, she learns that for her family, quantity has replaced quantity as automation is replacing chocolatiers. She starts falling for him, but her alter ego complicates things, especially when he learns of her true identity.

Holly is a jewelry designer who, after discovering a lost charm bracelet, teams up with investigative reporter Greg (Penny) to return it to its rightful owner.
