Kathy, 67, is the mom to four adult children – Paris, 45, Nicky, 42, Barron, 36, and Conrad, 32 – whom she shares with husband Rick Hilton. However, with Paris, Nicky and Barron having eight children between them, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fan favorite now has to share the holiday.
“It’s always been my day,” Kathy exclusively told First for Women while promoting the new Keurig K‑Mini Mate Plus in the Wild Orchid colorway. “Everyone is just with me and where I want to go, and now, it’s their day too.”
The Beverly Hills socialite admits that at first she thought Mother’s Day would “be different” now that Paris and Nicky are “moms too,” but it’s just as enjoyable. Kathy adds that the whole family will be together to celebrate, except for Nicky, who lives in London.
Raising her daughters in the public eye, Kathy certainly had more people watching her every move, but she says that she had a very similar journey as other moms.
“I was so young when I first started, you know, I got married at 19, and had Paris at 20, and yeah, they don’t hand you a manual,” the reality star explains. “I had no help at all. And I learned that I was afraid that if I put her down the wrong way, she’d break.”

Despite the bumps in the road that inevitably come along the way in everyone’s motherhood journey, Kathy still describes it as “really fun” and “so rewarding.”
“My children are everything to me, and through the ups and the downs, you know, we’ve stayed strong,” she shares. “It’s been a heck of a ride, yeah, quite an experience.”
Even with an ever-growing family, Kathy says it’s the small, everyday habits that help her stay grounded.
“If I don’t have my coffee, I cannot function,” she admits with a laugh, adding that she prefers to keep things easy when it comes to her morning routine.
Kathy says she’s a fan of using her Keurig at home, noting that the convenience makes it a go-to for busy days – and even a thoughtful option for Mother’s Day gifting.
“It’s something everybody could use,” she says. “You could set it up in your bedroom, outside… I love that I can do it myself. It’s so easy.”
