Paris Hilton is embracing her ADHD — and she wants others to do the same. In a new interview with People, the 45-year-old entrepreneur and mom of two says her diagnosis has actually fueled her success.
“I wouldn’t be the entrepreneur I am today without it,” Hilton told the outlet in an article published Tuesday, March 3, explaining that ADHD helps her with “thinking outside the box, taking risks, doing things first.”
The star — who shares son Phoenix, 3, and daughter London, 2, with husband Carter Reum — said ADHD is “not something that needs to be fixed.” Instead, she believes it’s about understanding how your mind works. “Our brains work differently,” she added, encouraging others to speak with doctors about treatment options that fit their needs.

Hilton has partnered with a medication campaign and says taking her prescription at night helps her stay focused the next morning. She also relies on structure to manage symptoms. “It’s really important to have structure, for there to be schedules,” Hilton explained, adding that she uses notebooks, Post-it notes and whiteboards to stay organized.
Being neurodivergent has even helped her as a mom. “It gives me just like, inner child playfulness, which will never go away, which I love,” she said.
Hilton hopes speaking out will “release the stigma” and remind others that “their mind is a beautiful thing.”
