‘The Official Big Bang Theory’ Podcast Drops Soon—Sneak Peek at the Cast + Behind-the-Scenes Secrets

It’s official — The Official Big Bang Theory podcast is coming to podcast streaming services near you! If you’ve been missing the beloved sitcom, this podcast will bring you right back to your favorite friend group and give you all of the behind-the-scenes secrets and cast interviews.

Max, the streaming service previously known as HBO Max, is partnering with Warner Bros. Unscripted Television to create this exclusive source of all of the sitcom’s secrets. The podcast will be hosted by Jessica Radloff, New York Times bestselling author of The Big Bang Theory: The Definitive, Inside Story of the Epic Hit Series.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Warner Bros. Unscripted Television and Telepictures on a lookback podcast for one of the most beloved sitcoms of our times,” Becky Rho, senior director of podcasts at Max said. “We are always looking to amplify and deepen the fan experience for our subscribers who can’t get enough of their favorite titles on Max.”

Many of your favorite hit series have ventured into the world of podcasts, bringing fans back to the beginning, offering untold secrets and giving insight into what happened on set. Each episode will “analyze and explore every episode starting with seasons one and two with the cast and crew who were instrumental in the creation of the series.”

The press release shared some insight into what each podcast episode will consist of. “Fans will get to hear backstage secrets and previously unheard stories as well as learn about the creative process and decision-making that brought each episode to life through conversations with guests,” it read.  

Want a sneak peek of what to expect from the first episode of the series? Radloff will dive into it with “a special look into the unaired pilot with co-creator Chuck Lorre and former Warner Bros. Television Group Chairman Peter Roth.”

Which cast members are joining the podcast?

If you’re wondering whether your favorite stars will be appearing on the podcast, you’ll be happy to hear this. Director James Burrows and cast members Kunal Nayyar (Raj Koothrappali), Kevin Sussman (Stuart Bloom), and John Ross Bowie (Barry Kripke) are all set to join Radloff on the series. 

Special guests will also include Sara Gilbert (Leslie Winkle), Christine Baranski (Beverly Hofstadter), Vernee Watson (Althea), and Sara Rue (Dr. Stephanie Barnett).

When and where to listen to ‘The Official Big Bang Theory’ podcast 

You won’t have to wait long for this anticipated podcast as the first episodes drop on Monday, March 17 and the episodes following will be available weekly. The Official Big Bang Theory will be available exclusively on Max and can be streamed on all major podcast platforms.

Subscribers to Max will also have the opportunity to watch The Big Bang Theory for the first time or relive the series alongside the podcast each week, as the sitcom is there for your streaming pleasure.
