Russell Crowe and his son Tennyson are a fit father-son duo!
On Monday, July 6, the Oscar-winning actor, 62, shared a few snaps on X to mark Tennyson’s 20th birthday. The Gladiator star — who shares Tennyson and son Charles, 22, with ex-wife Danielle Spencer — included a mirror selfie with the birthday boy, where they sport tank tops, showing off their impressive muscles.
The two-time Golden Globe award winner also shared a photo of them riding horses together, and another of him holding Tennyson as a baby.
“20 years ago today, at 7 minutes to 7am, this amazing young man arrived in our lives,” Russell captioned his post. “Happy Birthday Tenny.”

Back in November 2025, Russell appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast and revealed that he currently weighed 100.9 kg (222 lbs.) and had lost almost 60 lbs since finishing filming his historical drama Nuremberg, crediting the healthcare service Ways2Well.
“What I want to do is I want to make all these changes and make it a long-term situation. So, I think the Ways2Well was a great call for me because it’s calmed down a bunch of stuff,” he further noted. “It’s taken a bunch of pain away, you know, so I can go and work out and not have to suffer for two or three hours afterward, you know. I’m still picking up injuries because I’ve got to face the fact I’m 61.”
According to the Ways2Well website, the company aims to “help individuals take control of their health by providing advanced, preventive care that go beyond traditional healthcare models,” utilizing “innovative diagnostic testing, physician-guided treatment plans, and a focus on whole-body wellness.”
Additionally, the New Zealand native said he has pulled back on drinking.
“If I decide I’m going to have a glass of wine with dinner, then it’s going to be a really nice wine, and it’s going to be an occasion,” he remarked. I try not to have the casual drinks now.”
