Julia Roberts and her husband Danny Moder are still going strong after more than two decades of marriage, with the cinematographer sharing a touching tribute to the actress on her 59th birthday.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, October 28, Moder, 57, shared a romantic throwback photo of the couple, seemingly taken during a previous birthday celebration.
“Celebrating everyday… but October 28 the most. More candles bring more joy. Love you so much,” he wrote in the caption.
The sweet photo showed Moder planting a kiss on Roberts’ shoulder, offering a rare glimpse into the couple’s affectionate relationship.
The actress commented on the post with a kiss emoji and a series of hearts.
The post also prompted an outpouring of birthday wishes from fans, who flooded the comment section to celebrate the Pretty Woman star’s special day.
Roberts and Moder have been married since 2002, having first met in 2000 on the set of the movie The Mexican, according to Hello!.

The couple has since welcomed three children together: twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 21, and their youngest son, Henry, 19.
While Roberts and Moder have largely kept their family life out of the spotlight, they occasionally share heartfelt glimpses into their relationship on social media.
In July, the couple celebrated their wedding anniversary, with the Oscar winner sharing a casual Instagram selfie of the pair looking happy together, with the caption, “TWENTY ❤️🤍💙 FOUR. MORE MORE MORE 🤩.”
In 2024, Roberts shared her secret to aging well with British Vogue.
“Good genes, leading a life that is fulfilling, and I have said this – and I say it usually as kind of a joke – but I do believe in the love of a good man,” she revealed. “I believe that my husband loves me and cares for me in a way that makes me feel deeply, deeply happy. And anytime you see someone who’s happy, it doesn’t matter how old they are.”
Alongside her happy family life, Roberts has enjoyed an extraordinary career spanning more than three decades.
The actress shows no signs of slowing down, with upcoming projects including the thriller Panic Carefully, expected in 2027, per Deadline, and the long-awaited Ocean’s 14, which will see her return to the popular heist franchise.
