Harry Styles’ Fashion Brand Launches a Magical Disney Fantasia Collection—Shop the Collab Now!

Pleasing, the lifestyle brand founded by popstar Harry Styles, has launched a new collection in collaboration with Disney, focused on the 1940 film, Fantasia. 

The collection rolled out in select Disney stores in Disney Springs, Florida, Houston, Texas, New York City and London on September 28th and 29th. But if you can’t get there physically, it is available for purchase online today at Pleasing.com. The 30-piece collection includes apparel, skincare products, nail products and accessories, with prices ranging from $25 to $289. 

The designs on each product are original illustrations from the Fantasia film, focusing specifically on three moments in the film: “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”, “Pastoral Symphony” and “The Dance of The Hours.”

Pleasing is a unisex beauty and lifestyle brand, founded by Styles in 2021, which offers a variety of products. The company is collaborating with Fantasia, a collection “that fuses Disney’s visual magic with a pinch of Pleasing wonder.” Pleasing Creative Director Harry Lambert shared how the collection came about.

“When visiting the Disney archives, we had the opportunity to look through lots of archived and special illustrations which was very exciting… getting a peek behind the curtains of how these beautiful movies and moments are made felt truly inspiring.”

But choosing to go with Fantasia wasn’t just a random decision. Pleasing wanted to keep a certain aesthetic that follows their own. 

“From very early on, Fantasia was always in the front of our minds at Pleasing; the aesthetics, the mood, the bold illustrations, the colors, and ultimately, the epic world that Disney has created, were very much a world that resonated with Pleasing,” Lambert explained. “Fantasia feels very similar in terms of its overall aesthetic and musical influence — it just felt right for us.”

The collection is made up of 30 products, ranging from nail polish to clothing. Apparel options include button-down shirts, hoodies, crewnecks, t-shirts and sweatpants. If you are more interested in accessories, options include socks, tote bags, towels and journals. Customers also have the option to choose from the nail polish sets, of which there are three, lip balm and hand and nail balm.

Pleasing has shared their reasoning for the products they carefully chose, along with why they want to “honor the past” with the collaboration. 

“The collaboration is about uniting the magic, emotion and artistry of Pleasing and Disney Fantasia, and sharing this beautiful convergence with today’s world,” Pleasing CEO Shaun Kearney explained. It is an exploration of the past, while also honoring it. 

Disney’s consumer products president Tasia Filippatos has explained why partnering with Pleasing was a good decision. “Partnering with brands like Pleasing, that are the hallmark of this generation, allows us to bring the fun and nostalgia of Mickey Mouse and Fantasia to modern fans in new and relevant ways.”

This collection is a modern take on a nostalgic film, combining the past with the present. Filippatos continued, “Fusing the creative brilliance and playful escapism of Disney’s beloved classic with Pleasing’s aesthetic results in an exciting collection that delivers something unique and truly magical.”The in-person pop up shops are only available for a short time until October 27th, but you’ll be able to shop the line at Pleasing.com.
