Halle Berry may soon say goodbye to her longtime residence.
First For Women can confirm that the Academy Award-winning actress, 60, has listed her Los Angeles home for $5.25 million after purchasing the 2,274-square-foot property nearly 25 years ago in October 2001 for $2.275 million.
The two-bedroom, two-bathroom house is located at the end of a long, gated driveway and “feels less like a home than a world unto itself,” according to a listing.
Described as an “enchanting compound,” the home includes a garden that unfolds through various pathways as well as a spa, a vintage Airstream, a fire-pit area and a series of water features incorporated into its landscape.
The main villa features textured stone and brick, warm wood floors and exposed beams.
The Monster’s Ball actress listed the property after recently discussing her 18-year-old daughter Nahla‘s move to college.

Berry — who shares Nahla with ex Gabriel Aubry — told those at the Create & Cultivate Festival Panel in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 20, that it was “a little scary” watching her daughter head off to school, per People.
“She’s the first to go and she’s my baby girl,” Berry explained. “I felt proud of her, but there’s a little fear. She’s in the world now all by herself.”
“She went to another state, and I just hope that she makes the right decisions and that her dad and I hope we raised her up right and that she’ll make the most of her experience,” the actress added.
Berry — who also shares son Maceo-Robert, 12, with ex-husband Olivier Martinez — owns a four-bedroom, three-bathroom home in West Hollywood that she purchased in July 2005 as well as a two-bedroom, five-bathroom Malibu beach house that she bought in October 2004.
