Gwen Stefani Says ‘Yes, Please!’ to Blake Shelton’s Proposal

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are officially engaged! The lovebirds, who met coaching contestants on NBC’s hit reality show “The Voice” and have been dating since 2015, took to Instagram to announce their happy news.

“Yes please,” wrote Stefani, 51, followed by a diamond ring and prayer hands emoji with a sweet shot of the couple kissing while she shows off the sparkler on her left hand.

Shelton, 44, posted the same pic, with the heartfelt message, “Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life.. I love you. I heard a YES!”

We couldn’t be happier for these two, who found their happily-ever-after following difficult divorces: Shelton’s four-year marriage to fellow country crooner Miranda Lambert ended around the same time Stefani and her spouse of 13 years, Gavin Rossdale, went their separate ways.

Having both weathered heartbreak was one of the things that drew Stefani and Shelton together, he explained to PEOPLE. “When you’re where she and I were, and you just feel so betrayed … this bond that we formed when we found out what each other were going through, it’s still there.”

Stefani (who keeps her famous blonde tresses gorgeous with a $6 drugstore shampoo) shares three sons — Kingston, 14; Zuma, 12; and Apollo, 6 — with Rossdale. Shelton, whose marriage to Stefani will be his third (he was married to his high school sweetheart, Kaynette Williams, for three years before tying the knot with Lambert), does not have any children of his own, but told PEOPLE in 2017 that it was “easy to fall in love with” Stefani’s boys.

“They’re so damn funny,” he said. “It’s just my first time being around it … They’re pretty special. The best part for me, selfishly, is discovering a part of myself that I guess I never really knew was in there. It’s definitely an instinct that kind of kicks in.”
