Chrissy Metz is already seeing results since starting weight loss medication — and now, she’s sharing with her followers!

On Monday, August 10, the This Is Us alum, 45, took to her Instagram Story to post a video of herself lying down in a tank top, saying, “Look at him,” as she flexed her arm.

“You know, I love all my blips and blops and my flips and flops, but she’s making progress on the strength training journey,” Metz remarked. “She’s making progress. We like progress. That’s my progress report.”

As First for Women reported on Monday, August 10, the Broadway actress — who is currently a cast member in the musical & Juliette — revealed she turned to a GLP-1 to help her lose weight and that “it’s been great” for her.

“I’ve enjoyed the benefits that I didn’t think would come [sic], because I was very skeptical,” Metz confessed in an interview with People. “I was like, ‘I’m not taking this medication. I don’t wanna do this. It’s not gonna work for me.’ You know, all the things. But when I realized food noise was really a thing, that consumed a lot of my headspace, I was like, ‘Oh.'”

“It’s so nice not to be obsessing about what I’m going to have every minute, even as I’m still consuming the meal. I just vilified food for so long because I was taught that it was bad, and you shouldn’t eat this or that,” she continued. “And it’s been helping me be more mobile and have less joint pain and inflammation, and run around onstage, and just do things that would have been much more difficult several pounds and inches ago.”

As for why the Emmy-nominated actress turned to the drug, she told the outlet other avenues didn’t work for her and “I just wanted to take care of myself.”

“I’m not getting any younger,” she admitted. “I’m in perimenopause, and there were obesity issues within my family and with my father, and I felt like I’ve tried so many modalities, whether it was diets or therapy, and none of it really worked for me.”
