Carrie Underwood Talks About Expanding Her Family
In the Carrie Underwood family, the “Fighter” hitmaker is the mom of one son. But could that be changing soon?
Is Carrie Underwood thinking of having another baby? The country superstar opened up about expanding her family, and her current stance on having more children may surprise you.
Right now in the Carrie Underwood family, the “Fighter” hitmaker is the mom of one son, 2-year-old Isaiah. But she and her husband Mike Fisher may be making a change in the future–maybe.
“We’re on God’s good timing or whatever you might call it,” she said. “I’m just trying to figure out where life’s going to take me next.”
Underwood also revealed that her only child has not been asking for a brother or a sister as he’s gotten older.
She added, “As a matter of fact, if a dog climbs up on my lap, I feel like he gets a little jealous of the dog!”
Aww! Clearly she’s been working her mommy magic on little Isaiah. And that’s really no surprise. Carrie has always made it clear that she’s all about her beloved family, even when she’s working, as she’s recently opened up about.

I’ll probably hear some fan stories and stuff like that today, you know? It’s just always cool to be able to incorporate incredible stories about people that you know or people that you meet into your music.”
As she gets to work on some new music for her next album, Carrie is also soaking up some extra time with her husband and her little guy–as she recently shared a sweet family moment with her fans and followers on social media.

I’ve taken him down to the ice before and he didn’t realize it until [Fisher] was skating away and he’s like, ‘Oh, I know you!'”
